Experience
Present: Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Responsible for the success of the company by setting its culture and vision. Sets the direction of operations, marketing, strategy, financing, human resources, hiring, firing, compliance with safety regulations, sales, public relations, and building the senior management team.
1997 – 2008: President, American Electric Co., LLC. Profit and loss responsibility for one of Hawaii’s largest electrical contractors. Principal areas of operations are high voltage, utility, and industrial and commercial new construction and upgrades.
1991 – 1996: General Superintendent, American Electric Co. Responsible for the overall supervision, planning and coordinating of electrical services on projects; directly supervise up to 40 electricians in the field; quality control; coordinating equipment, manpower and materials on site; coordinating work progress with general contractors, architects and engineers; problem solving; preparing and processing change orders; and completing administrative and quality assurance requirements. Illustrative of projects managed are the following:
1967 – 1981: Foreman/leadman/electrician, American Electric Co. Troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of primary switchgear up to 25 KV, transformers, motor control centers, underground and overhead primary cables, troubleshooting power plants and substations in the South Pacific.

- Installed as a Board of Director of American Electric Co., LLC on March 7, 2007
